I can't see this model success against the Redmi Note 5 Pro. SD626 and 2910 mAh? Seriously? Even with Android One, no thanks. For that, i'll buy the Z18 mini global version, if available, with Android One and SD660 before they run out of stock due to the US ban or wait for other alternative.
I want Snapdragon but not 626. If you can't give SD660 the at least give us SD636, how hard can it be to do that, Xiaomi already done it with RN 5 Pro.

brb, dying, need to go to doctor
Wish they had a front shot of the red so I could see the bezels, the black hides them nicely. I suspect this will be superior to the RN 5 with a SD660 or Surge S2.

I get a really strong feeling it has something to do with supply chain issues. Because I really don't understand the logic. Everyone want experience and battery THEN camera. Maybe they got a tictoc strategy but who knows. It's slightly off.
Waiting for mi a2 .... android one. Cause idont like their iOS rip off custom rom
Why would Xiaomi compete with its Mi 6x (Mi A2) against its best seller Redmi Note 5? The design seems to be very similar. OK if you want to deliver pure android Xiaomi could deliver a version of Redmi Note 5 with pure android. They do not need a separate model (Mi A2) just for this.
