The US is going to split from global 5G standard because it doesn't want China to define 5G. Qualcomm and Cisco is going to build US only 5G so anyone trying to enter the US market will have to pay them

Case 1: 4g plan gives 60 GB data per month
Case 2: 5g plan gives 30 GB data per month at same price as case 1.

If this is going to be the case I will prefer 4G itself. In India many prefer more data than speed. 4G has decent speed. What is the use of high speed data when you exhaust them so quickly and reduced data quota.

Maybe 5G is good for Huawei to steal your personal data faster :D

The Americans are concerned the Chinese government are using Huawei products to spy on people worldwide (which obviously include Americans).
I do not think the Americans (or anyone else) are afraid of Chinese technology.

Huawei plans to out its first 5G smartphone in the second half of next year--did you mean mid next year or late next year? because the second half of next year implies it`s July-Dec? First half being January-June.
