Design is good and price is cheap, but SnapDragon 835 makes it unusable if you play true games on the phone. Latest games requires latest processors to run at high graphics settings. Next year, heavy games won’t run in 835 anymore.

AnonD-558092, 19 Apr 2018Nubia is unaffected by the ban. And doing so is illegal Nevermind, I checked and ZTE got rid of shares cause Nubia was losing money. Maybe they can work out a deal to keep the US tech coming and keep their high end phones.

Razer, a compagny known for gaming peripheral with a very agressive design, and their heavy use of LED everywhere they can, decided for their gaming smartphone, that maybe a more sober design was a good idea... It was.
Why do all those chinese, that it appears can do nothing but copy every trend started by US compagnies, don't also copy the actually GOOD thing that come with those trend?

RGB? on a phone? On a ducking phone? What the hell is wrong in their mind?

another casual cheap non-pro approach. 3,800 battery??? redmi n 5 series phones have 4000 despite using power effiecient chipsets. annnnd!!! s835!!! even if the company tries to justify using this chipset it would be funny! I wonder why gsmarena tries to justify!!! "but for a 1080p screen it should be quite future-proof"... nope it won't be! even s845 struggles with mobile graphic intense games(providing constant over 30fps). I don't know why some oems think that adding some colorful (mostly red and then green!) makes their device suited for gaming! even if they use the lasted mobile chipset! yeah if they are going to put a beast like tegra soc in, it is understandable! even RAZER phone isn't really a big difference! you pay a lot of money to get what you could have with other flagships! and 4000mah isn't unique! oh I was nearly forgetting! you'll loose great camera experiences other flagships provide!
look at the laptops! the gaming laptops are entirely different! and way more powerful! not just colorful and full of LEDs!
as I said even with s845 we can't have solid gaming experience like Iphones...(and razer opts for 120hz! oh yeah!)...the games we have aren't that big, are mostly casual compared to last gen console games! what happens if we suddenly get big titles on android?

AnonD-558092, 19 Apr 2018Nubia is unaffected by the ban. And doing so is illegal Nubia is a subsidiary of ZTE, they are very much affected by the ban. If they fired the senior employees they also would've saved money but chose to reward them and shot themselves in the foot.

LED strip - waste of money, power, space. Carve it out and squeeze in a few more mAhs on the battery, or maybe another heat pipe to keep the processor from ever throttling.

Now who voted gaming phone got no future? There is small difference between this and ordinary version in hw, design is on another level however. Just design is enough for someone to want to buy it. Thinking porsche design of huawei goes for about 2000, others flagships got nothing extravagant just plain looking front/back... Hopefully is sign unique and interesting design is coming back, so we wont have hard time naming a brand.

Like you have to much battery that you need something to drain it so they add useless RGB LED on it to make it look cool.
