But the SIII you mention was the exception, not the rule. Snapdragon SIII got OTAs to 4.1.x, 4.3 and 4.4.2. And all other flagships got two major updates.
And you are still on the Note 7 issue? Sounds more like you ain't nothing but a troll. Say no to trolling

People like you won't understand, it's about the experience you get with Motorola. It's those nice added features that make life easier, it's about the quality and the details they put in their materials. Batteries and internal memory that degrades far less than competition's, the optimized Android code to run at it's best even on lower end hardware. Mediocre people don't understand all this.
If you still can't understand, do yourself a favor and go buy a chinese phone that runs Snapdragon 660, has a badly optimised AOSP Android version and will probably never get an official update ever for 170€.
They are too damn expensive for the chipsets they provide, given the affordaility purpose of the G series. If they were €50 less each, they would make sense, or if the G6 Plus had Snapdragon 660 and the G6 had the 630, whilst the G6 Play would be justified to have the 450.

Even Samsung provides at least one major update to it's J3 models (except Spreatrum J3 2016 but because of the SoC manufacturer only). And their software is much heavier than Moto-Enhanced Stock Android...
Lol, Ars Technica outed Motorola saying no major updates for the E5 series and limited security updates every 60-90 days, the only thing worse are Apple's updates screwing up your phone to "extend battery life". We aren't that stoopid, LMAO.
Stupid lineup.
