Kiyasuriin, 22 Apr 2018Same. I really expected the A11, in the same 112g body, and 1700mAh battery.You never know, they may put an A11 chip on SE 2. According to some rumours the SE 2 won't exactly be a low priced phone and would be a miniature iPhone X, in that case it's quite possible that they would even buy up the RAM to 3GB.

Maybe for battery, but you can ABSULUTELY place the best specs in a petite device.

While I understand there's those who want big phones, and their motto is literally "BIGGER IS BETTER, YO! F YEAH!" Not everyone follow it. There are people that got petite and dainty hands that needs the small screen. My fiancee uses a pro 7 plus, (he swapped from the standard to plus) while I'm fine with S9. These small hands don't need the big phones because the keys are too far away.
Another point, those who take small phones DON'T TAKE IT for media consumption. (for that you got smart TVs ;D Screens of 40, 50 and EVEN 100 inch, I assume you'll respond by "that's cool 'n' all, but you can't carry a TV with you to the train/bus/car, do you?", Yes. I agree. For that there's laptops. )
And lastly. About myself. I've tried myself using a Phablet. And while the experience was amazing. I didn't like as it's too big for my hands. I do carry one (note FE) For a game called Osu! (Only decent phone with a pen, good preformance, and 16:9 screen) besides that. I prefer to be the smallie size.

It's an overkill. And I'll explain why.
The iPhone SE2 has a body of 123.8 x 58.6mm, that yields in an area of 78.4CMsquare. A five inch screen. Accomondates a 68.9SMcq area. Which yields an StB ratio of 88.2% in a 19.5:9 ratio. The largest 16:9 ratio such a body can carry is 4.1inch
However, a 5.5inch cannot be placed in such a body for a simple reason. The phone is too small to accomondate such a screen:
78.4cmsq < 83.4cmsq (the area a typical 5.5inch in a 16:9 ratio takes)
