Samsung has now started rolling out the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge Oreo update. The firmware update is currently being rolled out over-the-air

Security updates as well as OS upgrades take WAY TOO LONG !
It took about 3 months to get a new security update since 28 januari and Oreo is still not rolled out.
My next phone will definitely not be a Samsung one but a Pixel instead !

Last Samsung phone ever, I’m fed up with all of this.
Mid range phones got Oreo after two weeks of it’s release and we pay a shit load of money to get it last.
As I said, last Samsung phone ever.

I've downloaded and installed the Russian ROM for Oreo on my A5 2017 and it's working great, so no need to wait until June.

Really? Well, Samsung is a hell of a crappy company. They haven't completed the updates of the claimed flagship Note 8 yet, but are already starting to update to 2-year old devices. That's a company with chaotic and unorganized management.
Folks, go with phones that support straight and clean Android builds and stop relying on slow and unprofessional decision-making.
