They still aren't doing it right! The name alone is one thing the design being the same (resurrected) is another but this phone was a music phone so put in some proper music features for example an AMP/DAC by Denon or B&O a mini subwoofer on the phone. Dual Micro SD card support. Play Pause Skip physical buttons on the side! Maybe even a pysical shazam button to make thing quick. Sonyericsson Walkman phones were pioneers learn from them!

Content won't be made to accommodate 200 diffrent sizes. One, two max. Videos will be cropped, which are for me one of the principal usages on my phones.
UIs are perfectly capable to scale for multiple screens. On a mid/high-end Samsung on 7.0+, you can resize apps to frivolous ratios and they'll work fine.

PCs may have more diverse screens but on... moreAgain .. strongly disagree, UI design should fit the screen no matter what the aspect ratio is, it could be done if OS makers care to make it, and choice is good, taste and opinions differ, we don't live in a world where one size fit all.

Who would wants trouble when they can completely avoid it by releasing it in other region.
I mean I would love to buy the Nokia 7 plus too, or even the Nokia 8 sirocco, but, as a Xperia user who doesn't get to have the fingerprint scanner on my phone even though xperia phone got that and it also work in other region. But because of this and that, nice thing just doesn't come to the west easily!

The notch area is great to tuck the notifications/signal meters. Instead (what you get) with Samsung and the likes is taking parts of the main screen...

X series is with nokia since 2010... moreNokia have "X" series since 2007 i think.
Some of phones in that series is Nokia X2 (candybar design) Nokia X3 (slider phone)..Nokia X6 smartphone with Symbian os.. In 2014 Microsoft (Nokia).. Nokia X, Nokia XL. In 2015 again, Microsoft failed try to make Android phone lol.. Nokia X2, so X series is there in the last 10 years, and like someone said X is X in Nokia naming, not 10 like in Apple.

X series is with nokia since 2010 and there was X series in btwn 2012-13....so u mean to say iPhone is copying X term....then its fine.....else dont relate Nokia X to iPhone x

cpu score alone doesnt determine if a soc are good or not. you should also consider the gpu capabilities, and security support

PCs may have more diverse screens but only because they have more diverse usages. 3:2 laptops are for multitask on Office|Office or Office|Web, chat... 16:10 PCs are here to provide a full 16:9 experience for apps that have taskbars... 18+:9 are for real multitasking...
But what do you do on your phone that could possibly benefit from diversified aspect ratio? Social media? Please. Multitasking? Because everyone make their final thesis on a phone of course.
