Well that's it for me, I'm just going to download music and use a media player from now on I'm not with the whole music streaming scene at all.
Spack Jarrow, 26 Apr 2018What's S Music? Samsung Music? Sony Music?Samsung Music. Sony didn't name their stuff with an S, i.e. S Health, S Note...
AnonD-558092, 25 Apr 2018Always used S Music. So much better and free. What's S Music? Samsung Music? Sony Music?
Play Music has many issues, including that when I want to stop the music, it still plays on the background even I already stopped the app. It's annoying.
Rokka, 25 Apr 2018Android is becoming more and more like AppleWhen Android reached Z, then will begin with Android Apple.
Talk, Hangouts, Messages, Duo, Allo, Voice
Keep, Tasks, Reminders
Google Play Music, Podcasts webapp, YouTube Music, YouTube Red, YouTube Remix
Android, Chrome OS
Nexus, Pixels
Google Wallet, Google Pay, Android Pay
"It was back in December when YouTube Remix was mentioned revealing it'd be a paid service, offering Spotify-like on-demand streaming as well as video clips."
Of course, it is a paid service so that they can milk more $$$ from people just for enjoying multimedia contents. What things do we get freely nowadays, besides air?
Always used S Music. So much better and free.
Akinaro, 25 Apr 2018If anyone want just background playback on YT to listen music: https://forum.xda-developers.c... moreI use OGyoutube. Same, no root, excellent stability. And ban protected!
Google play music is good. Please let us enjoy something for free for once Google.
That's ridiculous. The Google Play music app serves as the default & only pre-installed music player on any phone running stock Android... Ugh
uh I just subscribed to GPM :| I have close to 20k songs uploaded to my account as well.

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2018Wait, would that mean a decrease in audio quality? F that.I hope not, it's bitrate is at 128 now anyway, VLC is excellent and free
What happens to albums already paid for on Google play?
On iPhone, YouTube already lists (and plays) all movies I purchased from Google Play Movies. The only benefit of the Movies app is an ability to download a movie to watch later. If they migrate Play Music to YouTube as well, I'm okay with that if they add the ability to download content. If not, I'll move to Apple music. With movies Apple is better anyway (but more expensive) because you can play movies in different languages, something Google doesn't let you do.
Wait, would that mean a decrease in audio quality? F that.
