Smartphones nowadays are less practical to use, especially that glass sandwich style...ISH. The V20 was the last flagship to have removable battery, insane camera tricks, hardware, and MIL-STD 810!

My S9+ behaves like iPhone X without Notch(Yes Face ID like feature works like iPhone), with Dual SIM, larger - higher resolution AMOLED screen, expandable memory option, Samsung Pay(Apple Pay doesn't work here) AND almost 40% less than iPhone X 256 GB(30% less than 64GB)!!

Only insane would go for expensive yet crippled one!

I hate the edge screen and dislike the rounded corners although I can live with them.
If Samsung want to match sales of the s7, they need a flat screen with rectangular corners.
I hope one day they will have an rgb sub pixel layout but unless lg do it and the public go for that, I don't see it happening.

I calling the S9 as the sleeping mobile people are now awake and looking for more affordable mobile withe the same features.

The curved edge screen is worse and more annoying than the notch.

However, I hate all phones since 2017 anyway (non-removable battery, curved edge screen, curved screen corners, notch, non-16:9 screen aspect ratio, glass body, ...). The last good phone came from 2016: it's the LG V20. This means probably I will never buy a new phone anymore, because none of the newer phones worth buying.
