In Italy a price raise was announced last month: 20 Eur a year to 36 Eur a year. Amazon video is garbage because it has a very poor library, grocery services suffer from a poor catalog too. Honestly the only benefits are fast shipping and that concurrent stores here in Italy have much higher prices at least for every electronic device.

not for my because amazon prices are not ok. in one day a product cost 30 and the same product next day is 60. A top in one day is 10 and in second day is 30.

Turned off Prime many years ago, when I saw Amazon turning from best deals around to the "I am the only one and don't care" wanna be. Of course so many sheeples fall for their marketing tricks but soon or later their popularity will go down.

In India it actually was just 500rs(around 8 dollars) for me to renew (for a year) XD, i know we don't get as much benifits, but who needs them

You can earn and buy a car in 3 months in USA,but here you have to earn atleast 10 years to buy a tinpot cheap maruthi
Average GDP per capital of USA is $58000 USD,India GDP is $1400 USD
So considering how poor is our country I would say even $20 subscription fee is sky high for many Indians , $20 is almost 1/10 of their average Indian salary

don't think this will affect Prime in other countries, at least not all of them. here in Germany, Prime costs 70 EUR since we don't have all those extra services that the US has. only Prime shipping, various media content minus everything that's geo blocked and the Twitch Prime thing.
seems likely that some people might drop their subscription after this $20 increase. specifically, those who don't use like half of those services
