The lack of headphone jack and smaller battery from A1 kinda make me confused. The Zenfone Max Pro is more tempting with more practical 5000mAh battery and jack.

Any attempt to release a mid to high range pure Android handset at good prices should always be supported. If not, we will only have high priced $1k Pixel phones and bottom low end Android One.
Kudos to Xiaomi and Nokia to adopt Android One. Hopefully more will follow. Wishing the likes of Sony to come onboard as well.

18:9 screen, an even smaller battery capacity than the Mi A1, no headphone jack. EPIC FAIL. Get the Mi A1 instead for much less. The. Mi A2 is not a worthy successor.

I didnt find any of them that were under 275 euro and thats the mi 6x without B20 as i cant find any that have B20 or a name as Mi A2.
Performance difference between 636 and 660 isnt that much that i would pay 100 over to get 660 without audio jack. I would then go with Meizu E3 that dont have B20 but have same or similar price but have SD636, type-c and 3.5mm jack. But i am not looking 6 inch phone and still hope there is coming out something that is smaller and have 3.5 and type-c on it.
Would be nice to have market for type-c headphones to and filters would filter them out in places like aliexpress and so on. It's pretty pain in the a** to find good one's that have type-c plug.

No 3.5mm jack makes it not hot for me, i bought original mi a1 mainly because it did not skimp on any features. Now with the headphone jack missing i will buy nokia 6 or 7 plus instead.

This phone is definitely hot. I’d love to have access to it in the US, it would be an instabuy for a backup/tinkering phone.
