This phone will be over US$400 if the Redmi Note 5 Pro 6/128 was supposed to be ~$240, lack of stock has marked prices up too much if you can find it, even on official Mi stores. Look to Huawei and Asus as the new budget rivals cause Xiaomi is going the way of OnePlus, unless you want the crappy Redmi S2.

Hot. I'd love a headphone jack, but let's face the facts, it's dying fast and I've already switched to Bluetooth.
Only concern is Battery life, but xiaomi hasn't let me down in that department yet.

I too don’t understand that what the hell is someone gonna use a 1-2 mm slimmer phone for which they cant do with 1mm thicker phone? Where are they inserting it that cant accommodate 1 mm extra thickness? lol.

YoloBS, 29 Apr 2018No. Google pixel is not stock android phone, its have many exclusive features.Yes. Pure Android is AOSP. What Pixel & Nexus series devices have is Google's version of Android.

Not Hot sadly
why remove the 3.5mm port..s[ecially considering this is not a flagship , this is a midrange one...and 3000mAh batter -_- no way...... 3000 is okay if it is something like Sd 625 bcoz of the low powered , power efficient A53 cores..but this has more powerfull kryo cores + a bigger display (almos 0.5inch more than previous one) and more pixels (2160X1080 vs 1920X1080)
In my honest opinion the Redmi Note 5 is much better than this (the only thing Mi A2 better than RN5 is Camera and to be honest the RN 5 Camera is not bad.so yeah.i can live with that)

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2018They got rid of everything for a slim design And in fact nobody really cares about slimness. I've never seen/heared of anyone who choses his/her phones based on thickness.
Manufacturers are trully insane and totally out of touch with reality.

Compared to other phones for its price the phone will sells like a hot fresh new hamburger from MC Donalds.
Its specs compared to price are gruesome.

I think it's not gonna be worthy .I will pick mi note 3 if I have to choose between it .I don't know why but I didn't like any phone of 2018 despite they are so cheaper than their rivals. I'm using mi a1 for last 5 months.and it's still good enough.
It's not gonna be hit .Tell me a thing is it a water resistant phone that they removed the headphone jack ?Why they repeated the design of Note 5 pro ?why they didn't put 3500 mAh battery?
That's why I think it's not worthy but there will be a pricing fact which xiaomi can offer wisely. But this time I don't want mi 6x or A2.
We should increase our budget and get Nokia . I'm not a fan of Nokia but they nailed this year (If budget is not a subject for you)

Not hot. No need to drop the headphone jack from a midranger. And those updates aren't as fast for Xiaomi, even the Mi A1
