They missed Bluetooth 4, and the uni-body construction as per the n9. HDMI out too IIRC

Re: this phone is obviously midrange so has to be cheap.
Specs - and especially only 8GB storage (probably without a microSD slot) is a good indicator.
Not good enough for me, and certainly not with WP.

all win phone 7 needs now are apps that can qualitatively and quantitatively compete with the Android market or Apple App store...and then it'll become a really huge success....

Too goo to be true. Samsung leads the industry innovations at the moment, not Nokia.

AnonD-1825, 31 Aug 2011I'm surprised, good move nokia! i have said many many times that only thing how nokia might se... moreon smaller screen you can not do guesture "magic" moves to control UI. And as a true iPhone follower WP7 is guesture driven OS. Otherwise user experience will be totaly cripled... (if that is possible :-)

nokia E6 and touchscreen BB (except storm) are viable because their OS is not so dependent on guestures. (though adding touch capabilities on such small displays is stupid)

With Nokia's track record of just ignoring the US market... Screw them, N8 is my last Nokia phone!

AnonD-252, 31 Aug 2011Everybody expect the first Nokia WP7 to be a real competitor to the top Androids, Samsung Gala... moreso true.

                                  1. Nokia had 256 MB RAM and fans said "who needs 1GB RAM, Nokia can manage everything under 256 MB.." so why N9 has 1GB?

                                  2. Nokia had 680 MHz and fans said "who needs 1GHz processor, Nokia can manage everything under 680 MHz.." so why N9 has 1GHz?

                                  3. When Nokia announced WP7, fans said wait wait wait...wait until Nokia release first WP7 device and it will be the greatest and beat GS2(The King) easily. So we waited waited waited waited and still waiting and is this Nokia's best shot to beat GS2?

Now Nokia fans says, "Who needs high end WP7 device? This phone is more than enough.."

mega lol @ Nokia and its followers. This phone can hardly come near good old Omnia 7.
