AnonD-16394, 31 Aug 2011I'm starting to realise there is biased news around here. Let's be fair, who'd ever expect the... moreEverybody expect the first Nokia WP7 to be a real competitor to the top Androids, Samsung Galaxy S2..., and iPhone5, and it must have the Harmattan skin, or else everybody will think it was really stupid of Nokia to choose WP7 and not Android, because it would have been really easy to move Harmattan from MeeGo to Android as both are based on Linux, WP7 is not, and it would have been really easy to add Nokia Maps just as HTC have added Locations as their Navigation app! Nokias problem have been the fact that they do not have any top smartphone that can compete agianst the top Androids, and they already have Symbian for low-cost phones, WP7 is supposed to give Nokia a comeback among the top smartphones!
Nokia has already said...they are going to price their WP7 devices competitively...so a year old hardware doesn't surprise me...how much you folks can pay for this device (without contract)!
I would like this device to be priced around $250
I'm starting to realise there is biased news around here. Let's be fair, who'd ever expect the first Nokia device running WP7 to be a high-end one?
Besides, it is supposedly called 703, so we should wait for the 800 and 900 series.
Anyway, the phone looks neat.
Looks allot like the Nokia N9 but if these specs are correct then it hasn't got a look in to N9. Nokia need to sort themselves out and start to release devices that compete in the market as it stands.
NOKIA 703
Display:LCD 480 x 800 pixels,3.7 Inch
Camera :5 MP 2592x1944 pixels,autofocus,720p
Memory :8 GB Storage,512 MB Ram
What a nasty outlook!
If this is really the sea ray then nokia you are a very big loser i expected much more from the first wp device... Its not worth waiting for your devices:-(

Looks like a N9 with WP7 buttons.
Very beautiful design
Ano, 31 Aug 2011How are they going to compete with that? If Samsung get SGS2 with WP7, then people will choose... moreThat is until people pick it up and realise its a Nokia. So much better made than any Samsung phone ever will be.
Nobody ever said that the Sea Ray was a high end device in the first
place only GSM Arena and the comments below assumed that it was.
i
It says LCD 480x800.
Oh dear Nokia, i just don't see them being successful with Windows Phone, their devices dont seem they will that great, gone are their days of innovation.
Law, 31 Aug 2011Very bad statts but this is only a 700 range windows device, we can expect dual core and bigge... moreAny source for the 700/800/900 nomenclature of the WP7 devices? That failure of a phone might as well be the top of the line device we'll see from Nokia, there's no indication of anything better yet, as far as I know.
Very bad statts but this is only a 700 range windows device, we can expect dual core and bigger screens for 800 and espevially 900. However if they wanna be market leaders again they need all their windows devices top notch like galaxy s2 statts standards
rew, 31 Aug 2011Only 3.7" display? to small 4" should be standard!too big for a phone dude....not everyone likes a big phone
Looks to me like it's the 27th November.
3.7", no bumb in resolution, camera sensor seems to be worse than N8 and N9, 8GB storage (lol)...not really an upgrade to the phones already on the market for ONE YEAR, even a downgrade in some regards.
Why does Nokia release such a lackluster device after putting all their money in WP7? The Omnia 7 has a bigger screen and can be bought for 200€. Why the hype for the Nokia phone?
I hope that's not Searay...
