maybe if the edge of the cell phones were made of a good quality rubber, even the buttons would be more attractive to the public due to their touch.

dladz, 01 May 20182 reports about the battery of the 12+ 3400 and 3900 if it's 3900 i'll buy it if it's not ... moreNot seen above 3500mA anywhere. Sounds like the journalist was wishing. That said, with a large battery and wireless charging, I'm keen. 3500 is too low for me. And those camera samples are poor imo. Hand on heart, I expect to drown in buyers remotes, once the Pixel 3 is revealed.

AnonD-666080, 30 Apr 2018- no notch - expandable memory - $300 less - you don't have to use gestures on the home but... moreYou also forgot
-ip68 waterproof
-no emui terrible interface
-powerful snapdragon 845 and not cheap outdated kirin
-stereo speakers
and many many more..

The only pro of p20 is maybe their camera, if they implemented the software right...

Lol are you for real?

The processor in the P20 Pro is awful.

Graphics unit is a Mali which means it's awful.

Try this test

Run the Gamecube emulator dolphin or the PPSSPP emulator.

Run any game and try to match up it's true FPS count, impossible.

Oneplus 5 2017 phone SD 835

Same test: All games that can work - work.

FYI the processor and GPU in the p20 pro are not anywhere close to the snapdragon.

Not saying the p20 pro is a bad phone, it's not it's a good phone, but the CPU / GPU combination for me is not up to the job for me, as long as huawei stay with the mali it's always going to be that way.

Also be great to see a beefed up retake on HTC 10 and A9 and both in metal - no glass back.

AnonD-666080, 30 Apr 2018- no notch - expandable memory - $300 less - you don't have to use gestures on the home but... moreIf you buy them with a single payment, then yes, a marked difference. Will HTC make them available to carriers though? Will they be priced well on monthly contracts? Huawei has a high price, but is available very cheap on contract. The Pixel 2 xl is the opposite. The Pixel is priced really badly by the carriers, and stores. Imo, for such a mid range device it should be much lower. I hear that the HTC Desire 12 is coming to carriers, so fingers crossed the U12 will also. But, all companies have the Pixel 3 to contend with. Arguably gonna be a decent device this time. With another stellar camera front and back. Huawei may have bragging rights now, but they won't in October.

Revonox, 30 Apr 2018A sensor this big on a lens that small would lead to some terrible inconsistencies in sharpnes... moreWell, the main lens' size varies for the size of the sensor.
The f/1.8 lens on a 1/2" sensor is larger than the f/1.8 lens on a 1/3" sensor, but the distance between the lens and sensor are the same on both.
Besides, I pursue Samsung's idea of variable aperture, but with more than two options instead of just fixed ones (f/1.5 - f/2.4, not f/1.5 and f/2.4).
