But I also know that there are not many people who think like me. The other important thing is the correlation between screen diagonal and the time spent with a phone - on the big phones it is twice more than on small phones. This time is trade, value added services, brain washing, etc... So there is no reason to make small phones for minority which wouldn't use them so much. Such people can buy something with VGA screen for calls. That's why I don't expect flagship or even normal phone with screen bellow 5.7 inches. Sony ZX2 is the only one, but for that price I don't know who would buy it.

People want huge phones, since they don't use computers anymore. And that is reasonable. I agree flagship should follow this trend. But it is pitty there is no 5.5 inch midranger. Now the only minded sized phones are Essential PH-1, LG Q6, Sharp Aquos S series and recently anounced Meizu 15/M15.
I don't mind notches if they bring compactness. Mi7 will be OK, people will buy it, I want Mi5s.

Why are so many android phones being released and all every single one now looks the same they all look identical whats the point internals the same externals the same pricing is even similar all over priced so what's the point if there is no point of difference .no wonder they are all losing money.

AnonD-744321, 01 May 2018what is even more stupid iPhone X didNOT invent the notch essential/sharp did it first!!Yes, iphone wasn't the first with the notch display, but everyone agree that iphone is trendsetter for the other brands, not Essential. Essential only a small notch for selfie camera but iphone put the whole sensors inside the notch. Like bezelles phone introduced first time by sharp aquos and several years later followed by xiaomi with mi mix, and then couple months later became a trendsetter as bezelles phone followed the other brands including iphone x itself. No one remember the sharp aquos as the first bezelles phone with huge chin bezel. Everybody remember xiaomi mi mix as the first bezelles phone. That what I mean..

Come on, xiao mi.. I don't expected any notch on any xiaomi phones.. Huawei, oppo, vivo, zte, asus, LG, 1+ and now xiaomi.. It's all because iphone X has started first. Only samsung doesn't follow this stupid trend.
