Huawei Mate 10 Pro has shown amazing results in Zach's tests so far.It's far cheaper than the Huawei P20 pro and it had better screen,far better durability when it comes to the bend test and the camera is more or less the same without all the fancy useless 40 mp.
Honestly,if you are going to buy a new flagship the Mate 10 Pro is your best pick and currently is around 600-700$ while P20 Pro is going 850$+.
Anyhow,the P20 Pro for it's price has shown very poor quality.I knew about this the moment i saw it in the stores.It was very light and it showed no premium quality. Almost as if it was some sort of a toy.The Mate 10 showed amazing quality while holding it and it was quite promising.P20 Pro could be popular in West Europe,but i'd never consider this a valuable phone for it's price considering Samsung S8 plus dropped it's price and it's a far tankier and more powerful phone.
Phones you can considering buying before this with similar or far less of a price would be: Lg V30,Samsung S8/Plus,Nokia 8 Shiroco,Sony XZ2 and Huawei mate 10 pro.
My best advise.Skip this phone.Even the iPhone X is a better choice when it drops price and i am an android fan.

Speaking of "chinese plastic", did you notice there is a thin black plastic band that goes around the P20/P20 Pro between the front glass and the side metal? According to a few dear friends at XDA Developers, that plastic gets scratched very easily and is visible. Even more interesting, I also examined the Mate 10 Pro, and there is no such plastic band. The front glass curves directly into the side metal frame. Wonder why the difference...

Yes next when i go and buy a phone, i will try not to forget to get a sharp knife, a hummer, and any other sharp object to test how good is my phone.

Who would place an 899 euro phone under fire for a freaking 20 seconds just to test the screen? Moreover, no one will press the phone that hard to show the people 'look my phone is indestructible like Nokia old flagships'. We only have keys in our pocket, not like we carry that blade or those scratching test equipment. Almost every phone nowadays has an anti-scratch coating (even a phone under 100 euro). These tests are completely insane.

Someone rightly pointed out the fact that if I need Chinese Phone with good build quality and performance, I will buy Xiaomi and not overpriced Huawei phones. If I have enough money or show off then surely Samsung, Sony or Apple.

Which one would you rather have, A monochrome camera... moreMonochrome isn't just there to take monochrome shots dude !
Monochrome camera enhances the color shots by providing additional information.
If you do not believe me try to cover the monochrome sensor when you take a normal shot. The phone will complain to you.
