Seriously it fix all the problems on the G6 like:
-32gb of internal storage fix to 128gb
-4gb of RAM now 6gb
-The micro on the G6 is just awful now it's been replaced by a better one
-The sound has improved
-No more regional availability
It's a worthy upgrade over the G6. :-)

The notch made this phone looks ugly and with bottom bezel? LOL
I'm glad sony & samsung haven't yet (or wouldn't) to follow this stupid trend.

While it was a great phone back in 2013 LG completely stopped suppor... more I actually have been thinking about the creation of a movie (maybe from Disney) called Denice the Meanace as of late. At any rate, this model may have debuted today, but notch handsets debuted last fall.

Looks like any other 'No'tch device. Nothing special about the design. It's better to avoid buying these type of 'No'tch devices.

Had LG G2 for 4!!! years. While it was a great phone back in 2013 LG completely stopped supporting it with a buggy ans slow Android 5.0.2. update. Bought Honor 9 and couldn't be happier. Will never go back to LG. Their hardware may be better but their phone support is 6 months or in rare cases 10 months and then consider yourself exceptionally lucky. If you buy a phone from them - better consider it non-OS-upgradable, they just don't care. This is LG.

as someone who has owned a lg g6 for abour a year i am never buying an lg phone again. while i mostly like the hardware it has never gotten an update from 7.0 and only received a second security patch because of meltdown/specter. i have zero faith in them that they won't abandon their phones as soon as they release them

LG, Sony, & HTC all headed to smartphone irrelevance and don't see this phone reversing LG's slide. Although if battery life is decent and its priced lower than Samsung S9, may not be the total disaster that it may easily become.

....the notch is a matter of taste (some like it...others don't)...I don't really care about the notch...I want to know about the chipset performance, photo quality & battery results.....

The notch is not that bad, i mean they gave an option to hide it by turning the pixels to bla...

Forget it, that notch is as trash as any other notch...
*remember that LG produces terrible oled panel anyway*

Unfortunately, it's already out of steam...They delayed all this while for nothing... No wow factor... A plain old V30 is more enticing.
Would have been a good looking phone if it weren't for that hideous notch. Also, expect this lcd display combined with that tiny battery to deliver another disappointing battery life. 2018 and still lg has nothing to show. No wonder they're becoming less and less relevant. It doesn't help too that they're throwing away their identity. Sad, but expected.

For 2017, LG V30 had the best design, probably because of those smallest and symmetric bezels, but I didn't really like LG G7 cz it's just a copy of the new iPhone notch trend after Vivo, Oppo and Oneplus! Still in 2018, I think S9 and LG V30 have the best designs so far!
