I'm from the Future. Guess What! 2018 iPhones still come bundled with a paltry 5W charger.

They'll still find some way to make it not work as it should or as easily as it should so you have to buy some other peripheral, Apple are the rip offs of the mobile world.

All those bezels, smaller screen, and it was lithium polymer comparedto mostjist and being 1500-1800 lithium ion.
So it could have been bigger even then. Where asmost have 3000-4000mah now.
I don't knowif you arejust being bias or actually not using your brain. Either from now on.. please post and reply with logic instead

Anonymous, 03 May 2018What?? Apple include a fast charger?? Can this be for realLet's hope so. Their current chargers are quite disappointing, even though the iPHONE 8 have a small battery, it takes a long time to charge, worst of all their predecessors to be said. With no type of fast charge technology, it takes a way longer time for the battery to be charged fully as compared to ANDROID smartphones

But that's obviously because unlike apple the reader have had better quality and higher capacity batteries already for years

Having worse batteries from all other competitors their superchargers are good for nothing just to burn the battery with blazing heat.

Hold up, you're whinging about Apple products NOT being predictable? o.O lawl try telling that to everyone thats crying about Apple having no surprises for anyone.

I agree not all the product lines are updated regularly and maybe this is something they could do better in but it works for them and the products that are outdated aren't bad products fundamentally.

Introduce inconsistent products lines. Long ago, Apple products are predictable.. now they are not. Some are not updated, some are kept secret. AND they expect people to follow their chain of thought, as seen by their close ecosystem.

While its true all business need profit to survive. Their means are dirty, and when enough people discovers it, it will be unsustainable.. They are currently riding on the wind of their past success.

A trade off, they remove the dongle for 3.5 jack and give you USB-C instead of USB-A but the Lightting port is still there in the other extreme to maintain the propietary wall against third not certified ($$$$$$) products. Charge faster, spend in our $199 Airpods every few years when their battery die.

Wires rant, 03 May 2018Hi Apple, where's the airpower you promised? I thought you said the future is "wireless" right... moreJust how naive are you?

EVERY firm in business exists to make profit. Its just a fact of life. Profit maximisation is a natural tendency for all firms to partake. Some firms are better at it than others.

Apple is on the road to making a truly portless iPhone. That's their ultimate goal and in staggered moves, it'll come to reality. They can't just rip up the whole spreadsheet of what everyone knows and accepts to be and expect people to buy into the school of thought. Its too expensive and risky. People take time to learn things but also firms take time to get things right.
