If you want a phone that will either last you less than 24 hours or only one hour this is the phone for you. Internet freezes and phone will either shut down and never turn on again or shut down intermittently. The people at Asus should be ashamed of themselves for putting such trash on the market. Considering the great laptops they used to make years ago. Stay away from this phone.

Anonymous, 03 May 2018I honestly still don't see the point of android go. You can get really decent phones running f... moreWhy would one bother with a Chinese brand that hasn't been proven to be super reliable to be considered having??
Yeah sure, SnapDragon 820/821 chipset. What else?? For that cheap, there has to be something cut in cost, considering the chipset itself is more expensive than the whole phone.
Maybe they will cripple everything else, like build quality, camera, software, performance, battery, audio, features, privacy, etc.
And how about availability? Can one find any accessory so easily for this phone, like screen protector and cases that are made specifically for it? Is there any sort of official service center that can fix this phone when damaged?

With this Zenfone Live L1, you get less impressive hardware, but strikes back for the reliability and ease of service.
Asus is way more reputable and reliable than those Chinese brands even if not the best in its class, and so are their products.

Sathish, 03 May 2018Why all Android Go phones be 1GB RAM!? Is it a guideline from Google! Asus could have used 2GB... moreAndroid Go is so light, even 256MB RAM phones will run okay with it.
1GB RAM is to completely lower the price of the phone to its fullest without sacrificing anything (less RAM may cause more app reloading than wanted).
You have to understand for once that these phones aren't supposed to have impressive specs nor to have the best performance level.

CptPower, 03 May 2018But yes it is. If i own a mobile company i would name my phones after a cartoon heroes. Li... moreThat's mostly anime you enumerated. Cartoon names include Steven, K.O., Mordecai, Finn, Gumball, Jake, Darwin, Bonnibel, Enid...

And I'm afraid that there would be issues. Granted these are names like your average Joe but still. And you gotta adapt to the market. Phone names used to be only numbers. A while ago it was words (Star, Advance, Core...). Now it's a letter with a number, as popularized by Samsung, Sony and LG (S, G, Z...). And it's a low-end phone. They won't hire the best marketing team to give it a fresh and exciting name easily recognizable that immediately allows the customer to recognize and identify the device and it's nature. It's also easier to use names that aren't copyrightable, it indirectly allows free advertising (See multiple Xperia L1 ads, only remember L1, search L1, see Live L1 in store or online...). Heck, Xiaomi (and other Chinese OEMs) do that with Samsung and Apple (Mi 5c, phones with X or S9 in the name)

I honestly still don't see the point of android go. You can get really decent phones running full android at around 100$, like phones from LeEco and Xiaomi. Heck, LeEco has phones running at 140$ with almost flagship specs eg-snapdragon 821,820

" impressive for its size 3,300mAh "

LOL
My phone dimensions are 14.17 x 7.58 x 0.79 cm / 5.58 x 2.98 x 0.31 inches for a 5.5inch fhd screen and it packs 3000mAh battery. So if this Asus dimensions will be same or smaller then that 300mAh more isnt that impressive
