Intel, what's wrong with MEEGO? I see a potential in meego. Look at the beautiful NOKIA N9. As soon as it is available in my country I will buy it. I see the innovation in the OS and I think most people will love it.

One of these days people will get tired of other OS, Symbian, IOS and Android and they will start developing the urge of love something new. Developers will do something on the apps. Trust me.

If you don't start doing something now, other OS will copy the swipe thing which is not available in the other OS yet. The SWIPE is the main attraction as well as multi tasking background. The rest are all the same

By the way I have read that some Japanese companies will make a new OS, and I suppose that they will bring those phones to other countries as well. If you need a new phone badly, go for Android!

Yes, WP7 started really slowly but with this update, there should be a lot to look forward to. No doubt MeeGo looks nice but do you really think that companies wouldn't have weighed up the differences beforehand? Obviously they saw that WP7 was the better of the two.

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2011rumor: korean government urges samsung, lg to look for android alternativesee stupid comments like that don't help.

Samsung have Bada OS which uses Linux Mobile kurnel and LG did have a version of MeeGo called Morestown which as far as I know they have walked away from after one and only handset featured of all things the S-Class UI.

MeeGo on N9 is awesome. It is potential alternate to Android and WP7.
Nokia is not dump to ditch MeeG0. They would have studied WP7 and MeeGo in detail and sticked to WP7. They would had not seen any future in MeeG0 so as Intel.
