Anonymous, 07 May 2018Thought the same about copyright and patents. Looks like they are no such issues (anymore?). Because of Nokia, they sign some agreement last year with Nokia, Microsoft, Qualcomm if i remember, for Xiaomi phones to sells in US and EU without pattent problems.

Personally I thought the reason why xiaomi didnt come to europe was because of fears of copyright lawsuits. But this doesnt look like the case. Could be good if you can buy their phones sim free.
