Why only 3? Why not just put 5 cameras right away and squash the competition!?
no no no! I know, 10 cameras are even better! And then add a notch on the bottom too so there'll be 2 notches, add a second display on the back beside the 10 cameras, reduce the battery size to 1000 mAh, remove any ports that are still remaining etc etc etc etc..
The world is degrading, and people are buying this sh****!

Triple camera setup is only useful if at least one of the camera has serious hardware (aka 41 MP, 1/1.7" sensor). Knowing Apple, i doubt they'd put on such a high-end camera setup on their phone. Apple is all about overcharging their fans with low-quality, low-cost hardware. They'd probably put like 3 different 12 MP cams of different variations. (Perhaps it'd be Normal + Tele + BW or Wide Setup)

I agree that's cause the guy who designed it was an ex apple employee. so resemblance will be there. but EMUI have come so far doing minor changes in recent years. Huawei's new p20 pro s triple camera setup is a big competition now for other brands. so maybe apple is the next major company to follow that and make it mainstream so they can keep up with the competition. I can buy an iPhone X if I want but I prefer android ecosystem as android have come so far they don't lag as they used to be once and I have the option to customize anything I want unlike ios .

(I admit. the bezelless iPhone X is excellent when it comes to experiencing. gestures are still weird and there are times I scream to my husband's help to try and solve stuff. XD, and I use that notch to hold the phone when viewing the video. so it's not half bad either.)

Now we have even worse things (multiple camera race, notch race, narrower screen aspect ratio race, removal of features race, ...)
