Why are you ignoring me talking about Xiaom... moreBecause this discussion isn't about Xiaomi. I don't even like Xiaomi devices b/c their after sales support reportedly sucks and MIUI looks too much like iOS. Again, if I wanted an iPhone, I wouldn't be on Android.
And it wasn't a rumor. Many sites in the tech community found that there was benchmark cheating. I know you're a fan of a brand that no longer caters to enthusiasts and that's fine. But any benchmark scores coming from OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, etc. should be taken with a grain of salt.

Given their history, it isn't unreasonable to think benchmark cheating may be a cause. Remember, we saw a lower single core score with the 5 only to find out there was benchmark cheating.
OnePlus is dead and no longer a brand that caters to the enthusiast anyway

Thsee scores are pointless.
The phone will perform exactly like all the other phones that have the same SoC except for operating system.
I am much more interested in camera and battery tests.

Thesis86, 08 May 2018Possible benchmark cheating. They have a history in that... so possible. The soc is same as with other 845 based phones so result should be very near each others. Not counting storage speed because They can be different.
