Cortex A35 fabbed in 7nm would be the best, and it would mean that Qualcomm is taking the matter seriously.

Anything else would be a disappointment!

New SoC should be at 10nm fab, if not 7nm.
Either this or either Qualcomm isn't interested in smartwatches.

Watches aren't smartphones , We aren't supposed to charge them daily and with their prices equaling midranges , we have any right to demand decent offer.

O S, 09 May 2018Hope it is built on ARM Cortex A35 architecture.I think you wrote a line of right words. A35 is the best choice for Wearable device, especially watch.

Anonymous, 09 May 2018Won't the time go to fast on these watches if they use a faster processor? :oThat's what i was worrying, too.. hmm

Lets hope that the new chip would be a 7nm one - so it would be top-notch!
If it would be mediocre, WearOS would fail, and only Apple watches would continue to exist.

This fall is when TSMC would release its first 7nm product - Apple's A12 the would run the next iPhone.

I would also expand the internal memory to 8. To directly compete with apple watch.

He thinks Qualcomm is gonna upgrade a 4xCortex A7 @1Ghz with a failured Hexacore design that consumes much much much more energy in a freaking watch.

They are gonna put 4xA55 at best. Although a dual core is more than enought IMO.
