People also complain when they remove headphone jack and look it appear again, quit being a baby if people dislike it and stop buying it then they will stop doing it, its not a future if it was stupid. Btw Xiaomi always shitty with their notification icon even without notch they show (...) the moment you have more than one app notification at least that is the way I remembered it when I use redmi a while back.

As long as it has a notch I buy. Uncreative people will cry, but in fact huawei already solved the issue of the lools (black notification bar) ... so they cry out of ignorance or pure love of bezels ... both negatives. So their cries is a good thing (when a villain cries in general).
No go on, moan about the future. It won't be the first time (I was here when people were crying for the lack of flash support on phones and a myriad other regressive things).
Upper bezel: I say good riddance. Next iteration we are going to see the elimination of the bottom bezel too ... about time too.

But i'm happy with mi redmi phone, especially for this budget.
