I'll add two cents here and say that Beats were used temporarily by HP and HTC a few years ago on a software level for audio processing (tablets, laptops and phones). There was no dedicated Beats hardware involved. So yeah, saying they made amps just killed whatever credibility you had (if any)

NXP is company based in Netherlands and one of oldest semiconductor manufacturing company in world (it was Philips semiconductor before) even Qualcomm wanted them for billions of dollars(around 5 times the price Microsoft bought Nokias phone division for) The best companies for audio amps are cirrus logic, wolfsen, akg and nxp. In no particular order. Cant really expect you to have an idea of what you are speaking anyways, so there's that

Again you have made many assumptions like I don't know what nxp is (nxp make many things like nfc chips
in flagahips and it would be very ignorant for you to assume that I didn't know what is nxp before) and taiwan is a part of china and bla bla and I don't wish to ruffle more feather of yours.

Also I wonder you didn't even know what NXP was until the Asus Zenfone M1 was launched.
I know your facts are shallow but even then let's make you happy by saying they will launch it at the end of its lifecycle ( the premium lineup)
So they can get it to the cheap price you expect it to come at.

And then your another made up fact that nxp amp is used only in cheap chinese phones.......rofl. No smartphone manufacturer discloses the info about the amp manufacturer, at least in 170$ price bracket in the first place.
Then you said that that asus zenfone 5, 5z, 5q is premium range (sure they are)
But these phones also use nxp amp.(amp which is used only in cheap phones according to you)

Taiwan is part of Republic of China (ROC) according to ROC government
Taiwan is part of People’s Republic of China (PRC) according to PRC’s government
Also there is no country called Taiwan. Taiwan is either geographical name of an island also known as Formosa, and of a Chinese province. And that is by both the ROC and PRC definition.
Don't try to divide a country because of your foolishness and ignorance.

The secondary snapper on the back kind of looks like a telephoto snapper.. But that kind of setup would probably put this phone's camera configuration in the 7 plus' ballpark.

Also Asus has launched its premium lineup in most of south East Asia including Philippines.

It'll be in one ... moreYeah competition is very cut throat here with brands like oppo being forced to launch a new sub brand. Oneplus and Honor would still rule in the upper mid range category as always. Maybe asus would launch zenfone 5 & 5z after 6-7 month with more aggressive pricing. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I'd rather have nokia with 660 rather than 5. Besides if op6 is 35k, almost all phones in that range are done for anyways
