Duck of death, 11 May 2018That is indeed a pretty aggressive price in this day and age where even the Chinese brands are... moreSome people prefer a lcd panel and it is a bit cheaper to produce. Therefor they include a lcd panel in their cheaper G-serie and oled panels in their highend V-serie. Just like not all samsung phones have a stylet but only the highend expensiver Note-serie.

The website in question is known to supply phones from outside the UK resealed with a third party UK charger. This price us likely at least £100 off the brand new factory sealed price. I'm guessing £699 which is cheaper than the S9 and same price as the XZ2.

The OLED screen will be only for the LG V Series, not for the G.

That is indeed a pretty aggressive price in this day and age where even the Chinese brands are trying to sell phones above 800 quid. The phone looks really interesting, but it does have two big deal breakers for me with the notch and the LCD. Didn't LG release an OLED phone last year? If so, why have they hedged back to LCD?
