My A10 already got Android-Q a month ago, but no update for A6+ ?

That is quite elitist. All of their consumers, rich or poor, deserve to be protected. Putting out stuff that exposes a people to harm in irresponsible.

Randomnly, my Y7 Prime just got a security update this April though, which is 5,000 PHP less than J7 Pro. Does this mean that Huawei does better on security updates than Samsung?

They're not going to keep users of the S and Note series waiting and provide updates for a budget phone which they make hardly any money on. Simple Business

Sometimes the update breaks the phone. Would rather not update if it is working fine.

Better than every half of the year, I guess.

Wish they put one phone model under the Android one program.

I am still rocking the S6 Active. I bought three cases to purchase the S9 plus but due to the battery drain test I decided not to buy it again I think I'm going to get the unlock A8 +

Samsung is advertising the smallest possible time between updates, which is not true. As some say that they don't receive monthly updates, my A3 received update after 7 months...

It's not bad I suppose. Getting two major os updates is similar to nokia who are on the android one project. Expect future samsungs to get quick updates with project treble phones.
