And, i dont think RnD is HMD focus right now. Marketing, reviving Nokia, get back in town, educate people, and gaining some sales are their priority.
Same goes to Lumia era. They were very bad until 1020 came in, which is 2 years later after they adopted WP.

Anonymous, 10 May 2018Give them time....they have only been operating for a year or so....they have to get sales, di... moreThey want too big price for there low and old hardware in Chine and India market first and then global. By they time they get there phones out there is already market full of that trend and new trends start to come out that Nokia will be left out and behind. Build quality cost is so high that with a price of one Nokia 6.1 you get 2 Xiaomi Redmi 5 plus for the price. I don't hate Nokia but I wont be buying one for my self with these prices they ask for. They are not different then other phones cause they have all stock android and that does not make them anyway different then others. Updates and build quality for me isn't worth 100+ euro to pay more.

All the Nokia Android phones released so far, lack the Nokia DN... moreGive them time....they have only been operating for a year or so....they have to get sales, distribution, customer service in place and then begin to draw their own path. They probably couldn't afford to go extreme/niche/radical with their opening phones straight away otherwise they wouldn't have got off the ground.....plus they have been away for so long they have to see if their brand was still liked.
