anemonous, 12 May 2018Uh, Nate. That's what you call evolution of technology. It's not about customer satisfaction. ... moreConsumer tech is much different than industry leading or tech out now not available to public. My point on that is that a consumer facing company will always be chasing the consumer..
Duck of death, 14 May 2018What's more interesting is to see how your region can't read what other people write. I don't ... moreHuh? Why are you offending me? You are right, each user enjoy in their own way, and that's fine.
Sherlock Mix, 13 May 2018Interesting. I guess it's a regional or cultural difference where we live. Because here no one... moreWhat's more interesting is to see how your region can't read what other people write. I don't expect to get top selling price if I end up scratching my phone. That's just stupid.
Very important facts to consider here:
1. I never spent money on cases that need to be replaced once or twice a year as they're all designed to get scratched and look shitty after a few months.
2. I enjoy the actual device I bought the way it was intended to be enjoyed.
To each their own. I get why you prefer "owning" your phone the way you do it. It doesn't mean everybody thinks the same way.
Luxor, 14 May 2018Casing ia needed for glass phone. As if the next buyer will be super happy with a cracked back... moreCasing is NOT needed for a glass phone, as I clearly wrote below. Gorilla Glass doesn't break as easily as it used to. Casing is needed only if you worry more about getting the best resale price than enjoying the phone you've bought with your own money.
micro usb??

Bu... moreMi mix was 7.8mm (standard for its time), 84% BtS ratio (top for its time) and *still* had 4400 mah battery. I would expect in the intervening years things to get better, not worse (keep the 4000 battery but make it even thinner, say 7mm) ... but noooo.
The tech is here, battery is kept artificially low so that you may have to by a new phone in 2 years time that it would have lost 30% of its full capacity...

Anonymous, 13 May 2018Vivo Apex is notchlessI googled the Apex you mention, it's not symmetrical screen though like the form factor presented here. But it looks very good still.
Duck of death, 13 May 2018I don't get why people walk around with a phone in an ugly case just so they can sell the phon... moreInteresting. I guess it's a regional or cultural difference where we live. Because here no one buys if it has any mark of use, scratch etc.
Also, I don't know why you think I would use "less" the phone just because it has a case? It just means I care about my electronic devices, and ultimately about my money. I never dropped a device in my life and I use them all the time for everything. I don't know how people where you live pay the same price to a scratched, apparently used device versus a used one that looks brand new, but if you are saying, I won't judge.

Sherlock Mix, 13 May 2018You dropped on the floor and it looks brand new? Lol. I doubt that. It may work normally, but ... moreI don't get why people walk around with a phone in an ugly case just so they can sell the phone "as new" two years later. You've literally just kept it in a packaging for the next buyer so they can enjoy it more than you did.
I've never had a buyer come back to me demanding their money back from any used phone I've sold. Ever. At one point in time I did use replacement battery covers, back in the days when that was a thing, but I've never put a protective shell on any of my phones.

It may work normally, but any buyer would return quickly if you advertised as being perfect without marks of use. Thats why i always use a strong case, so i can sell legit like a new. Without case dropping on the floor? No way my dude.
