A great phone, but sadly few will buy it. This is the worst marketed device ever made. Declared obsolete on release, and overpriced. Nokia deserve to lose their market share because of this stupidity.

AnonD-13986, 07 Sep 2011Wow, taxes in Europe must be high. Estimated price in Malaysia is around USD600 to USD650 for... moreWhat? 600-650USD and 750USD, for the 16GB and 64GB respectively and that price is cheaper than arc? I can buy an arc with 400+ USD. And galaxy s2 for 600USD.

who says that it is a DOA phone the blogs? ok so what let the people to choose if it is dead or alive from the sales and pre-orders you think that the only that matters is the number of applications and not the quality of applications the receiving and calling of the device or the browsing i am in Greece and as Nokia say in the website of N9 it will be available here defenetly is my next phone even i consider the Nokia WP i think i will buy the N9 as the last N series Nokia and ofcourse for this beautiful and distinctive UI

limited availability = high price. check economic textbooks.
official statement for unavailability in major markets (western europe) = high profit resale market = even higher prices.
doubtful support = low prices.

So i bet first 3 months prices will be sky-high. Later may drop but very slowly.

Sun Down, 07 Sep 2011Quite reasonable for what it offer IMO. I'd get the 64 GB for sure.I thought you have budget one? The Msia authorised dealer confirm that the 16GB will be below MYR2,000, 64GB 'slightly above' MYR2K. Next week we will know officially

Even though Intel reported they will discontinue MeeGo development, I say that the amount of interest on the platform can't let it die. Several manufacturers have pointed out their interest and many consumers are dying to get their hands on this absolutely dreamful phone to get even the smallest bit of experience it provides.
