All what I saw is just bunch of medicore features, fix that should be there long time ago, and really small improvements to os it self and its performance. There is no single thing there that was exciting or hot.
YoloBS, 13 May 2018Gimmick only gimmick. Google should do something like windows 10. Whats the point of Releasi... moreExactly true, what a shit to release every year a new version of OS,just market strategy to sell more and more so called "new" phones
Who cares?.......new android is for next year phones....we will not get it anyway.....
Gimmick only gimmick.
Google should do something like windows 10.
Whats the point of Releasing new version every year which nobody gets (oreo only have 5% market share and google gonna release android P this year).
suman0, 13 May 2018Just put a dark wallpaper on. And if I don’t want a dark wallpaper?
Well i hope my Moto X4 will receive one.
Android P wannilla version whats should be better nothing.
Pure android is best possible option for any device due to no fuss preinstaled in mobile phone which is disguised as a part of the OS.
Too early to decide if it's HOT or NOT.
Real time hands on experience will be the right time to decide
I'm using gestures on my rn5pro(miui gestures), and I'm just loving it. There's always a learning curve, and after that I just can't get back to the buttons.
I personally think android p has better gestures, but instead of the back button they should've gone for edge swipe. Here's hoping for beta 2.
Anonymous, 13 May 2018Android P is good but when will i get it?! I dont like currently the pixel 2 and it takes a ye... moreSome non-Google phones already have it, and it's not stable yet. Android's changing.
Anonymous, 13 May 2018I love the redesigned pull down notification panel and more colourful settings menus. But am s... moreUse a 6inch 18:9 device and then you'll know why gestures are better than legacy buttons interface. As for who did it first, go check webos phones, get out of your cave
Anonymous, 13 May 2018Android P is good but when will i get it?! I dont like currently the pixel 2 and it takes a ye... moreIt's because oems like samsung and xiaomi like to add their own layer of software experience,in which they add their own new features or design changes every year, which kinda results in late software updates(also sometimes they have preference of giving updates to newer devices cause they are greedy) , that's kinda why i think demand of Android one devices have increased i think
Anonymous, 13 May 2018Google talks about digital wellbeing and stopping devices from keeping us awake, but when will... moreI thought notification bar was. Transparent and depended on the app, and dude. Seriously app drawer is THE reason why I actually like Android, other than custom roms which allows custom roms like miui which are more. Suitable to your preference
If there is Android Oreo Go Edition, then Google should publish Android P Go Edition later on
I don't really like Gestures. Sure you may get used to them eventually, but it's still a learning curve as opposed to having an intuitive visual button.
The other changes such as colourful settings and rounded notifications icons, have been around for years in other ROMs...
Google talks about digital wellbeing and stopping devices from keeping us awake, but when will they understand to get rid of the awful bright white in the notification bar and app menu?
