Seems every one here is angry bout the screen.
but I'm so happy about it.

It means that ice cream sandwich works on 800x480 as well.
    Not just qHD screens.

Glad this limitation doesn't exist. The sgs2 may just receive the isc update.
    how sweet is that? :-)

Seriously disappointing if true. That's around 207 pixels per inch.

Google needs to stop getting in bed with Samsung for the Nexus phones. The Nexus One upped Android's game. The Nexus S and (if rumours are to be believed) the Nexus Prime seem to be nothing more than catch-ups.

What's wrong with you, Samsung and Google?! This is the same situation with the Nexus S last year! It was no better than the Galaxy S! At least try to have some innovation!

Its good news for users like me who just care about performance
low resolution means better performance so it will be faster than any other phone around :D

If the res doesn’t turn out to be qHD screen, that would be disappoint, the single factor that would put me off buying the new google (nexus) phone.

Its a huge disappointment, i hav used Galaxy S, now Galaxy S 2. If now Prime would be also same WVGA resolution, then why should i buy it !!!
Even brands like HTC is moving to HD screen and other models are already having qHD screen, what samsung thinktanks are doing.
One advice to Samsung: Plz go towards excellence, success will follow u :)
