Almost perfect if there's no notch. I hate notch so much. WTH they follow the ipx notch? That's the ugly thing happened in smartphone world.

I agree with all the previous posts.
This model is not head and shoulders above the 5T (or the 3T).
I would upgrade to it from anything under a 3T, or
if I jumped ship from a different OS phone.
Other than that,.. it'll be a "me to" phone in 6 months.

Ever wondered why all spyware and monitoring tools only work on Android and never in iOS? That's because the former allows all processes to communicate with one another, while the latter is a 'closed-off' system, where apps can't snoop in on core processes, therefore making it secure.
If you believe getting malware straight from the playstore or even by visiting a website is normal, then that's that. It's your choice, but also your fault when things go wrong. And no, not talking about porn sites at all.

So expect the base model price of OP6 to be around the 35000 mark which is reasonable considering what we are getting.
and regarding IP rating the only difference between 67 and 68 is
67 : max depth 1 meter not more than 30 mins
68 : more than 1 meter (do be defined by manufacturer) usually 1.5 to 2 meter
both are good enough for a dip in the pool./ underpool photograpy for a short period.
so unless you are sponge bob living under the ocean, 67 is more than enough.

Interesting. This and the LG V30+ are the only two that interest me right now and their reduced prices are surely part of it. Cameras are improving but phones have plateaued WRT major leaps forward in design. Water proofing was the last major thing. I'm going to stick with my recently replaced s7 edge and save my dollars for something next year. I love new tech but things have slowed down to the point where I have a 2 gen old phone but it's new and spending $1000 plus for something slightly better suddenly doesn't appeal. Phones have become like PCs were in 2012/13 - big leaps forward then incrementalism since then. I have three PCs that are 5 or 6 years old and still not requiring replacement!

Alien , 14 May 2018I would never pay for a phone that has a notch and no SD card slot = garbage => NOtch buy! more screen is better, this is a flagshipkiller so you go notch-less ^^, while we will enjoy a faster and better phone.

At least with iOS you get security of your data and bank details and can do online purchases with your phone without fear. And your browsing, app usage and search history are not shared with 3rd parties "so that you get better ads".
Whereas in Android you are always one step away from installing some malware or full spying tool directly from the Playstore or by visiting a random website. Plus everything you do, wherever you go, whatever you buy, etc. is recorded by Google and then used to manipulate search results in such a way that they generate traffic for whoever pays them more. So you will not even get accurate search results - you will get more like 'recommendations' from Google and other companies. What a joke Android has turned out to be...
