just like Vivo claim using 20MPx@2.0µm (IMX376@1/2.78")
16MPx @ 2.0µm probably physically impossible for phone.
largest one for afaik is 12MPx@1.55µm (1/2.3")

2.0µm ??? Really? In a budget phone. That also 16million pixels?!!! That would be huge sensor. This is cent percent gimmick and not true... the cost of the sensor wpuld be 30-40% of the cost of the phone !

Why launch a new model when you can't keep stocks of existing phones? Xiaomi will resort to flash sale and the usual problem will continue! People won't get to purchase it anyway LOL.... Xiaomi's Pre Booking circus for Redmi Note 5 Pro is literally a joke and is worse than the flash sale. Xiaomi is forgetting the basic fact that if people can't buy your phones when they want then they will go to alternative products.....
