Lenovo has been consistently pricing the Moto G series phone reasonably well, even less than the US price. So not sure why so much pessimism.

So they sell this phone higher than the other countries? That's a shame since Lenovo is an underdog on India.

                      Back in Moto's G1 and G2 days,
They were making great affordable phones, with great specs, and updates on par with the nexus line almost
Then they got sold to Lenovo and Lenovo destroyed the brand....

Seems logical decision not to launch plus model.
First - it would be cost more than 20k
Second - MiA1, Redmi Note 5pro are already in market with SD 625 and price tag 15k or less.
Third - soon MiA2 will be launched in India with SD 660 ( Kryo cores) and price tag will definitely be less than 20k.

With above reasons Motorola ( Lenovo) is sure it will be tough game to find buyers. Hence, they find it logical to play with price brackets by avoiding plus model.

What the?! No Plus variant for India? On top of that, lenovo will sell G6 and G6 Play at a high price. This is absurd. Makes no sense. Oh God. I wish Lenovo never acquired moto. Disastrous.
