Sean, 08 Sep 2011That is because the x8 & x10 Mini phones are not compatible & they don't have the ram ... morewho said x8, x10 mini are not completable with android 2.2 or 2.3. just go to xda developer and see they provided stable costum rom of android 2.2 and 2.3 for x8, x1o mini and many of x8,x10 mini users r using that rom the only problem is it avoid warranty i have 6 more months of warranty so i am waiting to complete my warranty period. even i asked sony ericsson about 2.2 update they r also not showing interest to update x8,x10 mini. sony ericsson knows that xda developer r provided stable rom but still they r not supporting because x8, x10 mini r mid and low range phone so they they don't want low and mid range costumers they focusing only on high range costumers.

I think I'm going back to Sony Ericsson! Great phone designs and now, timely and consistent software updates. Wow!
I am currently using Samsung Galaxy Ace and previously has plans of getting Samsung Galaxy S II as an upgrade maybe late this year or early next year but upon reading this news and on top of that, Sony Ericsson will also be releasing their dual core flagship phone next year, I am excited!
