Xhxhyy, 16 May 2018The Multicore score is so unbelievable. This must be wrong. SD 625 Multicore score is just bet... moreSD820 comes with just 4 first-gen Kryo cores. It's blazing fast as single-core performer (scores about 1300pts), but gets destroyed by octa-core CPU (namely the SD625 or the equivalent). Even worse if you get the SD820 Lite (MSM8996 Lite) as I did on a Mi 5 32GB. It only performs as if it's only a midranger, so well SD625 is a power-friendly solid performer
Stop using the 625 so much. 636 should be the minimum now, even helio p60 would be nice
How many phones does xiaomi releases with 1 year old sd625,look like they must have bought them in huge quantity from Qualcomm ?
Techfan21, 16 May 2018What abt single core The 625 better than the 820 or what?QSD 625 single core score is same as QSD 800. But the Multicore score is still better than QSD 820. See it for yourself by testing on Geekbench.
SD 625 all the time from 2 years ago. OMG. I dont see any point producing phones with almost 80%++ same specs,
fret not, it will be equipped with nanotech, since Tony Strakz built it
These guys are mad of SD625... started hating Xiaomi.. nothing is exciting from this brand now...
[KERNEL][OREO-Treble][LINARO] StRaKz-KeRnEl For Mido (RedMI Note 4/4x) (Oreo)(CPU OC
Could it be...... Redmi 5 Plus with Android 8.1??
If so, I'm definitely excited for my phone!
I only hope for little fixes like the noise cancellation software of the microphone (get rid of the alien-like effect of sound compression), add Full HD 60fps recording option, enable camera2 api, maybe improve the camera post processing even more, and hopefully (but very unlikely) add gyroscope EIS for video recording too.
All of these are huge welcomes, but mostly I want only the first one to be fixed, and I'd be happy even if the others won't come.
The Multicore score is so unbelievable. This must be wrong. SD 625 Multicore score is just better than SD 820.
Lol, Xiaomi's phasing-out their SD625 by releasing lots of phones with the smae chipset.
masoc, 16 May 2018LOL, this is not a new device, it's just Redmi Note 4 with Strakz kernel.
https://forum.xda-d... moreOomph! I thought this is another new Xiaomi phone!
SD 625 + Xiaomi = Typical Xiaomi Phone!
LOL, this is not a new device, it's just Redmi Note 4 with Strakz kernel.
