Who owns NOKIA now Microsoft, Google, China?
I want all mobile phone makers to get punished for making this low-quality money, time-stealing shit devices.
Manhurt, 16 May 2018It is hard to put big battery with glass body but I cant explain it.It's easy to explain if you consider a few basic Physics and Chemistry rules:
A metal plate (like Unibody of any kind smartphone)'s Atomic array, is sturdy, it has high endurance to any form of force applied to it, sense would be if so, that it can withstand larger batteries than it "should".
However, a glass's chemical build is rather random and amorphic compared to the fairly structural form of glass. Hence. It's endurance is CONSIDERABLY lower (but not nonexisent, as many may mistake) and will crack apon pressure from bigger battery than could be placed.
Ofcourse, it's just the tip of the iceberg, there's MANY MORE factors to consider when placing a battery in a glass sandwich phone.
Anonymous, 17 May 2018Mr. Merwyn was awarded as best xiaomi hater in the worldThat's expected. Sheeps don't understand the value of cost effective phones and brands. Without game changers like Xiaomi or honor, these so called premium brands would have been selling sd 200 series at 400$.
Manhurt, 16 May 2018It is hard to put big battery with glass body but I cant explain it.Fair enough, then maybe use a different body
Carol, 16 May 2018The only thing apple changed, is the money you pay for a device, in their case, a crapp. Befor... moreyes ph1 one did the notch first. they did it better actualy, but what happened , why no one follow them with the notch design? why all the companys copys apples design? agree or not smart phone industry still follows apple .
Kiyasuriin, 17 May 2018You can hide the notch. My friend ^^; it's a software level trick that makes a black bar, hidi... moreThe same thing only works for OLED and microLED screens as their pixels get completely shut off when displaying black.
To achieve the same level of blacks, IPS LCDs need to be turned all the way down, which is as good as turning the phone's display itself off.
Umesh k, 16 May 2018Bcoz though others pioneered it, notch became mainstream only after apple adopted it... ok? Are you saying that Sharp Aquos S2 was not a mainstream model?
Wow, you can buy 5 of these for the price of an iphone x, shows you how overpriced iPhones are
Fayth, 17 May 2018yes apple and it's army of copycats. when Essential Phone released, the army didn't even care... moreWrong. Actually, this notch thing developed very fast after Essencial released their phone. Meaning? They actually brought the notch to mainstream, sharp were the first to implement one, or maybe the second. So, if we're talking about who, copied who. FOR sure, nobody copied irapple. Or maybe you think a device can be designed, projected, developed and tested and then released in a after 2 or 6 weaks. The amateurs talking here are unbelieveble, and nope, i am not talking about the positive side of the word.
Merwyn Fernandes, 16 May 2018Many people may be expecting it come at the same prices in India as launched in China or cheap... moreRofl. What took you so long.
As Sheeps won't understand the value of bang on buck phones.
All they scream is I have premium phones 100000^x times a day to satisfy their inflated egos.
OMGush, 17 May 2018Only 3000mah? For such a large device should be atleast 3,300-3,500mah. Also dat notch doe. Blech! You can hide the notch. My friend ^^; it's a software level trick that makes a black bar, hiding notch.
Beautiful. I love ut's back symmetrical back design! And the front's options can hide notch!
Carol, 16 May 2018You mean the other way arround. When the notch appeared, apple and it's army of copycats, adop... moreyes apple and it's army of copycats.
when Essential Phone released, the army didn't even care to copy.
The Atrix has fingerprint sensor before Apple, the army also didn't even care to copy.
The Army will wait until Apple copy first, then they have the courage to copy
(it's headphone jack and removable battery all over again)
USB-C? Great. Come on Nokia, release this worldwide. IÂ’m starting to be a fan of Nokia again, but they seem to focus a lot on China market. The availability of their phones in other regions is not good.
