Excuse me, before you all continue arguing, what does Microsoft OneNote & Lync do ? App for documents?

Word, Excel, Powerpoint will be good for those writing reports & presentations, good news for business users, thanks Nokia.

sooo wish that Nokia sacks the idea of sacking Symbian and just use it on all the "feature" phones & reserve WP7 for smart phones.

its true that microsoft partnership has made windows phone into nokia's main os.

but as we all know in business decisions they would be stupid to not have a backup plan.

in this case belle is the backup and even if they continously say symbian gradually be phased out they cant change the fact that many people still use symbian devices and ignoring them completely will only mean disaster if winphone fails.

Even with hardware acceleration, android will still Lag

The other competitors than will surely fade away, especially android.

N9 will be updated until december 2016 also.

Tell me? Do you think that people will buy another phone within 5 years?

Just saying, Nokia have been working like no other the last 6 months. I am really impressed.

N9, soon WP7 and now they starting the real combak with Belle and the marketing of many phones around asia.

is the gradual transition to windows mobile by nokia cancelled. Now a update like belle would take much of the intesest in buying win mo. And on that they realesed windows apps for symbian. Wats up nokia? Continuing symbian. If yes realese the updates fast.

Apple still try to sue everyone who don't have their overprice gadgets. Microsoft move on Nokia is a good step.
Nokia still have many patents for wireless device.

[deleted post]Dream on! Nokia themself say that they no longer will support Symbian or MeeGo, and Microsoft payed so much money to Nokia that they demand that Nokia end support for Symbian and MeeGo. The only reason why Symbian still get updates and Nokia produce new Symbian-phones is because they still do not have any WP7-phone, but from the day the first WP7 Microsoft/Nokia is released Symbian will be "dead" and no more new Symbians will be released by Nokia!
