Oneplus3, although with many cons, was their best phone to date!
This one looks terrible, and from the first samples, reviewers say its speaker is the worst!
So tell me Oneplus, why would I buy your phone that costs almost as the new flagships from Samsung, HTC, Sony but has so serious flaw!? I mean, a mediocre mono speaker in a 2018 flagship? this is ridiculous!

One Plus 2 was a mess thanks to SD 810. One Plus 3 and 3T were really the best phones that they made till now. They looked great wasn't trying to ape their contemporaries and sold at a pretty decent price.

It was clear the world was moving towards screen sizes above 5inch and Apple had to change their stance or go down like Nokia and Blackberry who stuck to their beliefs even when market told them not to.

Apple started using stereo speakers since iPhone 7, but these OEMs didn't follow, despite the fact that they are focused on replicating iPhone experience on an Android phone.
They copied the jack removal, but skipped the IP67 rating.
If they would want to copy Apple seriously, at least do copy the good ones instead of the bad ones.
Year by year, OnePlus phones get more similar to an iPhone.
OnePlus One is the only OnePlus phone that I would say is a true OnePlus smartphone.

And no one was copying essential when it came out but everyone started copying the Apple one although Essential one was the better implementation.

Well, design-wise, they did a good job reinventing the Galaxy S-Whatever, but with a notch. Glass back, blech.
Are there going to be no phones that are durable any more and not prone to cracking and shattering for not good reason other than to have a shiney back on the phone that our reptile brains can't resist?
That aside at least they finally put a decent size (physical size) sensor in one of their phones. And I hope they stick it out with the 3.5 mm jack in future phones also. That's the most tempting feature of the One Plus 6.

Yeah okay, they make it look like it takes alot of effort to make the glass back. that doesn't change the fact that it's just a boring, straight color like most smartphones have. Nothing bad, but not anything special either. Take Honor 9 for example, at least the back looks different than most smartphones, it has that reflective effect. I wish more smartphone manufacturers would do that.
Other than that it looks like a great phone though. Might buy it.
