Anonym, 19 May 2018Nope, it's called competition, and OnePlus is having a hard time compete with real flagships (... moreWell, hmm, nope, can't find that price for the S9 or S9+.

I "need" the slow USB2.0 with no possibility of transferring photos and videos faster from the internal memory than the lousy USB2.0 interface that's there!?
microSD cards may be slower than internal memory, but this slow interface is killing the usefulness of USB OTG, more so than microSD cards.
- No USB 3.1
- No MicroSD slot
- No stereo speakers (and the mono one of the worst quality there is)
- No waterproofing
Well - that's not a flagship...!
Ok, so the first 2 is not critical... but speakers are kinda disappointing... and no ip68 is the worst! the last thing I need is to accidentally drop a new 500+ phone in water and not be able to use it afterward...
AnonD-235514, 19 May 2018Seriously stop complaining about he price, it's half of the iphone or samsung with same spec. ... moreI'm from Europe and in my country the 5T costs MORE (not even equal) than the S8+ or XZ Premium. How is this a flagship killer?
All I see is a lower quality phone, with less hardware and software features, that costs more than the actual high-end flagships it is trying to copy.
Not to mention that having a notch + chin is a horrible, horrible design bleahhh!
AnonD-235514, 19 May 2018Seriously stop complaining about he price, it's half of the iphone or samsung with same spec. ... moreNope, it's called competition, and OnePlus is having a hard time compete with real flagships (such as the S9) because it now costs the same in many regions. OP6 is a nice phone, sure, but its still not quite in the same league as the very best -- so should have nearly the same price as those.
And yes, those may launch at neat USD/EUR 1000, but as you can see then they drop to the same prices as OnePlus (todays headline on GSMA -- "get the S9 for $520 and S9+ for $640")
Seriously stop complaining about he price, it's half of the iphone or samsung with same spec. And it's called inflation also. If you don't want to buy it, don't buy it.

where did you find reviews or comments about the mi mix 2s camera being not too great?
regarding the reviews of OnePlus you're completely right. all the tech reviewers basically say the camera of the 5t is pretty great. then you read thru posts on xda, Reddit or the OnePlus forums and you see what's reality... are all of those reviewers paid just like dxo mark? incredible.
Hoffmann, 17 May 2018I remember the times when OnePlus phones costed max. 450 €. I miss those timesThe original OnePlus One was 300-350 euro.
Who cares? I wouldn't use one even if they would send it for free and pay me extra..

But it scored 97!!! And Xiaomi customers seems to have a better opinion and camera experience with the new Mi 6X without OIS than the MI Mix 2s with OIS and a bigger sensor... someone should ask Xiaomi's CEO how is that possible. The Zenfone 5 today only 90 and doesn't have that problems. Try to compare as much as possible and from real customers too, not paid companies, newspapers, etc.

those are the 2 phones that interest me.
will have to wait for camera results of op6 to see which I prefer.
Mi Mix 2s also reaches Europe and costs 555€ in Spain.
Better looking, better screen, IS sensor and no notch.
Oneplus did a big mistake with that ugly notch...
not IP68 :(
looks very good but i wanted true water resistance
Can't wait for the 6T!
Important: OnePlus has none of its phones certified for VoLTE nor VoWiFi.
So although the OnePlus 6 hardware is capable of both techniques, the software which should be made available by the telecom providers, will not come before certification and OnePlus has given no indication it is going to do that.
