Apple sales, relative to the performance of others IS slipping. Let's just say, if I was the CEO, I'd be wearing diapers right now!
Apple ARE loosing ground and they know it. They can't out perform the hardware or production turn-arounds of the Koreans and are playing the legal card as a last resort.
Don't just read the numbers, look at what they mean and what the trends are.

And, to top it all, this is what Steve Jobs said at the time: "Picasso said, 'Good artists copy, great artists steal.' And we have always been shameless about stealing great ideas."
Sure, when you have phones like Galaxy Fit, Ace and Mini, that you are going to have volume. If you consider the price*units, who has shipped more? That would be interesting to see.

The iPad 1 uses the same processor as the iPhone 4.
The iPhone 5 will probably use the same processor as the iPad 2, the one Apple launched in February this year.

You know the report this thread is based on, you find it by clicking the link 'read the news". if you bothered to read it you would see Apple's sales increased by 64% YOY, that's INCREASED, it's there in black and white, right above this reply.
Now I don't know where you get your idea that iPhone sales are decreasing but it certainly isn't from this news story.

you say apple are the pioneers yet it was htc who developed one of the first touch screen phones. If apple put a dual core into their phone then they are behind the times. They also wanted samsungs AMOLED+ screen but had to settle for the retiner display which is worse. Apple just have a following of hipster fanboy kids who like most people have highlighted know nothing of tech. Where do the apples components come from? oh yea samsung. Enjoy your samsung apple branded device guys and enjoy the butthurt

Its just a matter of time SGS2 or Galaxy tab aren't the last devices from Samsung there is still coming devices
Not just the Nexus Prime but other devices that will come after years
That way apple is acting is so bad but wont be useful if they can ban Galaxy tab in some countries like Germany that doesn't mean they will be able to do that all the time with all phones its better for them to step out of their little world and enter the real world of competition

But isn't it sad that the innovation, progress and development of firms like Samsung, HTC (or whoever) are being jeopardized by the legal antics of Apple?
I mean, if litigation is all they have in response to ever shrinking sales percentages; what hope for the future?
Even their own loyal customers are beginning to be embarrassed and switching to more positive manufacturers.
4 of my close friends are testament to this HA! HA!
The courts need to make a distinction between the invention and evolution of technology. Makes me wish I'd invented the wheel!
I doubt I would ever buy another Apple, BUT, I do want them to be around to encourage competition. Be in the sales room I mean, not the court room!

Apple products are for consumers less technically aware and less conscious of what they get for their money.
Other manufactures, pushing the envelope of technological advancement sell to more critical consumers and respond to their feed back within months.
With Apple, they blind the soft minded with marketing and give you nothing new for over a year.
