Anonymous, 20 May 2018I don't care if ZTE exist or not.You should care even if you don't even consider buying one of their phones.
Each time we loose an option we loose leverage over the phone makers. If we keep loosing those options it'll be the same device year after year with the only change being a higher price. There won't be any reason for the few remaining players to innovate, and they'll be sure to share that lack of concern with our wallets.

Boo boo, poor business is loosing a few billion, oh no a loss in taxes, get the president!
I don't care if ZTE exist or not.
tell me, how much zte phone are sell or shipped? not much. so what exactly they are business? yes, telecom infrastructure and system.
they need the chip to implement their equipment, if it stop? then they can not running the business.
AnonD-625430, 18 May 2018After all the bad publicity, do you think ZTE can revive itself in the US? They were never big in the US. The reason they closed the production is because they couldn't get any processors. It turns out it's hard to sell phones without internals. I'm guessing other SoC producers like Samsung said they weren't interested in selling Exynos processors to them as, in Samsung's case, they do do big business in the US.
Do do! \o/
Anonymous, 18 May 2018ZTE should use windows phone osActually Windows Phone doesn't want to be 'dead', as it seems. Got pretty big update this month.

Mikey, 18 May 2018Very good. Please tell us how isolationism is working for North Korea's economy. Even thou... moreSure its about the way they treat their people. Keep in believing that lie. Meanwhile there is no ambargo for Saudi Arabia dictatorship.
USA will lose this war of technology against China in near future. It is inevitable.
Anonymous, 18 May 2018That clown is useless.I don't understand how you think Trump was the one who made them violate the embargo.
