The fact that the onboard storage is in control of the manufacturer and gives consistent performance whereas the microsd speed depends on what class card you put in is exact reason why manufacturers are taking them off..
2. Other phones took away 3.5mm before apple.. So stop your apple hate.. Usb audio takes the DAC out if your phone.. And into the hands of manufacturer of your headphones.. So.. With 3.5mm jack you are stuck with good or bad audio depending on your phone.. With usb audio it depends on what you wish to invest in your headphones.. High end manufacturers will come with better built in DACs for audiophiles and if you don't want them you can go for cheaper ones..

In case of SD i think having an extra slot is always good idea because instead of your phone you cant drown your SD card and its still have more pros than cons.
But era of the jack is history of the past.
If not apple someone else would start it.
Now everything should running wireless.
Because Nikolaj Tesla inventment will live forewer.

2. You are comparing the 64gb g7 with 4GB ram to the version of oneplus 6 with 8gb ram and comparing price?
3. I haven't seen any reviews of the g7 speaking of superior sound and camera etc? Are those simply your opinions?

then OP6 is phone of the year!Unfortunately camera remains one of OnePlus weaknesses.
It's sad to see that even Xiaomi can make a decent camera, while OnePlus is stubborn in using inferior sensors and illogical configuration.
The main camera is not bad, but it's mid range at best with that small pixels and mediocre dinamic range.
The secondary camera is just useless. It it's current form, it's only purpose is to serve portrait mode, something google can do very well with just one camera.
I would have much rather see the money spend on a single good sensor instead.

The microsd and 3.5mm jack are outdat... moreHow in the hell is 3.5 mm jack outdated,the micro sd card is outdated due to the simple fact that (1)Companies still have to pay little royalties to microsoft for that(2) a 64 GB sd card will cost around same as increase in price from 64 to 128 GB storage while offering way higher transfer speeds comparatively (i know you sometimes lose portability and i can't argue that) while 3.5 mm jack is outdated due to the fact that some idiot at apple's office decided to remove audio jack and revolutionise audio phone industry(maybe they are thinking of bringing ipod back or i dont know) with no improvement in audio quality (quite opposite actually), with increase in price of the headphone/earphones itself and it's not like they were successful in Making USB C earphones common and don't me started on stupid cable they wNt to force to carry it everyday everywhere

g7 price in the uk is less than 600 pounds for the 64gb version and that includes a micro sd slot i can put a 400gb card in it if i want to

the one plus 6 256gb version as i cant put a micro sd card in it costs 569 pounds in the uk
30 pounds difference for a quad dac , waterproof design , better speaker , better microphones , a second wide angle camera you can use when you want and that is actually very versatile , micro sd slot for expanding storage etc , 100 pounds headphones in the box etc etc
so no im not retarded as you put it , the links are there for everyone to see , you can buy a g7 for the same price as a one plus 6 in the uk and you get a lot more for your money ;-)

The lack of wireless charging is a major error because most top phones offer it how and there are wireless docks and pads everywhere. I have a Note8 and always want a stylus operated phone so would not get a OnePlus, but this phone does look nice and I would consider it if the screen is as good as the Note8, S8 or S9 if I didn't need a stylus, else I would get an iPhone X because it's so purdy.

By bringing themselves in as Affordable Flagship Killer, OnePlus has made a big mistake... Yes, they surely are a profitable Project, however, they cannot go for more profit as they have already labled themselves as Affordable than the rest of the Flagships, So they got to keep the minimum Pricing...
If the pricing is High then people are going to Blame and No one gonna buy it... OnePlus must be in Tricky situation where they don't want to invest more and don't want to raise the Pricing...
