the prob is , there are new releases no doubt , but the devices which are in the market are costly.
also with every new release we see a newer device that is comming in. I think there should be a version of device which allows you to scale up like we have a laptop :) to enjoy all these new releases

Would you rather have a phone with old hardware getting the latest OS making it slow down to a snail-like speed ? Well this is the case with the iPhone .

They can get right in to that error, and the main problem is, they announce any update..like the best of the best updates, and thousands of users are expecting these:
Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, FroYo, Gingerbread, Honey Comb,Ice Cream, etc.
like real updates, and are just bug fixes, they put too much hype in making users believe any update will be better and better and are just plain and simple fixes...and that's not honest for any one....even GSMArena know Ice Cream wasn't that users expect :P
Anonymous, 11 Sep 2011iOS 5 copied Android's notification system as well as BB's BBM service... think before you BS.... moreLoL that the only think in your point of view iOS copied to Android...Notification bars has been from Symbian S60 times.
In that case Android copied the icon design to iOS, Android has noting but take what others do and personalize, nothing new around...Even Android copied from BB. So there is nothing "original" on Android...and even if you use both OS (like me) you will see OS runs smoother on iOS than Android
Even Samsung designs are copy from iPhone, there is not original designs from anyone of them...but Apple is also a copy from others (xerox in mind), this is an era of copycats, the huge difference are the patents, if Google do that, Apple can't use it, but they didn't or they do it??
The Boy with Red Hat, 11 Sep 2011Plain wrong iOS?? Copying things iOS from Android???, iOS was there before Android even seems ... moreiOS 5 copied Android's notification system as well as BB's BBM service... think before you BS...

There's a reason Windows doesn't get "total" make over, there's a reason Mac OS doesn't get "total" make over. It's because they currently work and sell. Same idea here with Android and iOS. How did Anna, Belle make over of Symbian affect the market share?
There hasn't been any kind of innovation in terms of software in the past few months from anyone really (iOS, Android, Symbian, WP7 etc). They all kind of do the same thing they did last year. Is there a special reason why you put higher expectation on Android?
Good thing I have wp7 I can always expect updates and there's no force closes which I really miss from my android
To Google: Please update phones 2-3 years back!
To phone manufacturers: stop pumping out phones! slow down
too many and too fast new version for Android. for tablet it should be chrome OS not Android. iOS is best in this, keep simple but complete. when will iPad use OSX?
May be ICS not ready with full touch based ui.... so they move back that idea to Jelly Bean....

Past don't really matter... The quality of experience the OS provide today is the important part.
I am pretty happy with Gingerbread on my phone and Honeycomb on my tablet right now. Not sure what in ICS is really going to wow me as much as what I have now. Are people so unhappy with their existing devices that if some other Android device gets an update before theirs, they go nuts?
There is only one feature that I really want on my phone and that is the ability to calibrate the auto-brightness feature of my phone. I was told that this is not possible to develop an app that can do that. This is the only new feature that I personally want to see at this time.
you have two options either you guys can wait for jelly bean or leave it and say I will never use jelly bean..if this updates making you sick..google is not forcing you to choose android or its updates..
Had google approached you for any help before the the android devolopment or release?
its googles wish, they can release whatever whenever they want ,remember we are just depending them
