Not big deal. You won't live in forest so just charge it normally.
Not having wireless charging it THE barrier to entry for me.
If it had wireless charging I would buy one, but it doesn't so I won't.

If only you did your homework! OP6 2nd camera is "ONLY" for bokeh and has same focal length and aperture as the primary
This type of glass doesn't break like ceramic and is good for signal strength, and why are people still complaining?
Sir Alucard, 22 May 2018What phone lasts 4 days or more? Even the P20 Pro only lasts for two daysExactly ;-) wireless charging isn't necessary. Front fps and water resistance is more important. And yes, 97% of the people lay their phones with the front up, so backside fps is always covered.
And then in a few months: "Our new Oneplus 6T sets you free with wireless charging!"
Wireless charging is very inconvenient.. we cant move the phone around as we like. I charge my phone most of the time while i m in bed using it! Its possible in wired charging not wire lesss.... unless wireless charging charges a phone 2 metres away from it ... its of no use
The honeymoon with OnePlus is over. They're slowly creeping up in price with marginally improvement that's no better than their Chinese counterparts. If anything, the likes of Vivo and Oppo offer better value and functionalities than OnePlus.
Ok seems that doing that they don't feel the need to grow their customer base with those that want phones with more features.
The antenna is the typical excuse, every year they come with some explanations about something but the price continue raising religiously every few months with each model. With glass back their customer service will be more profitable due to the amount of broken glass covers to repair or through royalties for third party manufacturers.
Well, as they seems to don't care about customers like me, i'll buy a phone with more features than their phone and equally powerful for the same price. Perhaps in two years they'll have something more interesting to offer.
SohailSays, 21 May 2018Although Wireless Charging is not so much necessary, it is good to add it and no, no feature i... moreCalm down. As it stands right now, wireless charging is not a must have. Apple has excluded it for years and still outsold the entire industry. What people really want their phones to do is work great, charge fast, and hold charge longer. If anything, wireless charging could possible just be used by bigger companies to keep flagship prices up. Its just not that practical. Especially with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor.
Anonymous, 22 May 2018It does add volume.
Funny how they don't want unnecessary features but have a useless dual ... moreAt least on other phones, that dual camera has a hardware function that is more important than how OnePlus implemented it into their phones.
Yeah sure, bokeh can be done even with only one camera, but the telephoto camera helps to make the bokeh to be applied more accurately. And bokeh on telephoto lens is way cooler since the narrower FoV actually emphasizes the main subject and make it stand out even more.
And while not anything ground-breaking, a 2x optical zoom is still bettee than 2x digital zoom, unless you have, say 24mp resolution to match the 12mp optical zoom of other phones.
There also goes a wide angle lens, which is a big help in landscape shots. And the monochrome lens, which makes more dramatic shots and truly improve image quality.
With the OP6, image quality isn't better than the S9 at all, which only has a single camera. So in that aspect, we can conclude that OnePlus' dual camera is the most useless implementation among all of those who implemented it.
I am also not interested much in wireless charging, but what about the notch, for what purpose have you added that , huh.
Someone Else, 22 May 2018"We're not going to add a feature just for the sake of it" And yet, OnePlus add a glass bac... moreAnd yet they added the infamous Notch for the sake of it. If they can add an useless notch, why cant they provide wireless charging and making the phone waterproof?
Yes. Wireless charging isnt a must have feature. I can agree with OnePlus here, but how can they justify OP6 being not fully waterproof? They cant omit this citing implementation costs, OP6 being the costliest OnePlus device.
Still don't get why people want to use slow wireless charging when there is fast charge available..
Don't get started about no wires and comfort.. You can't pickup and use your phone while charging.. That is comfort.. Which you can do with regular wired charging..
"We're not going to add a feature just for the sake of it"
And yet, OnePlus add a glass back just for the sake of it. Hmmm
at least it should have NFC for wireless payment. Now its look like the glass back panel just for trending which is useless.
Kinda agree, kinda don't, oneplus when was asked last year about why not adopting the notch, curved edges, rounded corners, minimal bezels, their answer was pretty much "ohh we wish we had the kind of money to produce such a phone" now all of a sudden the oneplus 6 has all of that, you got the capital needed to do that "innovative" design just now oneplus? i don't think so, they just delayed it one generation for maximum profit, maybe next year would have glass back and wireless charging, Oneplus, the company that always settles and drops features on their phones little by little every year while they could do it all at once if they want to, their excuse "oh we're such a small company, what can we do", it is indeed smart business strategy for the company but not really that good or catchy anymore for the consumer, this is why enthusiast brands will always betray us, such a shame.
