yawn.......
ever since the brilliant m7 designers left ! its been the same old rehashed m8 design year after year
Anonymous, 22 May 2018How regular are your usage? Mine is 12 hours each day and I'm sure no BT headset can survive that.. I use Bluedio T2+. They survive 40 hours on a single charge.
That battery, and no wireless charging is my concern.
SmgUk, 22 May 2018You forgot VAT more likely £850Nope. £699, on the European website. http://shop.eu.htc.com/store/htcemea/en_GB/pd/productID.5191061200
why not put speakers on front like they did with m7 m8 m9, now they've moved finger print at the back too
Cccaa, 22 May 2018Yeah right like you have a money to buy an expensive cellphone. All you do is lurk on this web... morehahaha... my friend, why are you mad that I hate LCDs? I use a Samsung with Amoled, and I can tell you that if you have never used an Amoled you will never know how good and vibrant it is. Good luck trolling people and you dont even own an oled device lol

Htc was always innovative and classic but their marketing ruining them . Let's see what they gonna be offering with dual cam and other things .
EnthusiastK, 22 May 2018No OLED, No thanks, pass. Yeah right like you have a money to buy an expensive cellphone. All you do is lurk on this website and hoping that someday you'll be able to buy one.
jcks34, 22 May 2018699£ 64GB version @ UK store. Not bad at all.You forgot VAT more likely £850
AnonD-674280, 22 May 2018For that price there isn't 3.5mm jack even, while other flagships have type-c with 3.5mm jack.... moredon't know what BT headsets you're using but my Bose ones last me a least a week with regular daily use. if your on about cheap £15 sets off ebay or amazon then there is your reason why thye don't last. you get what you pay for.
How to save HTC? Make U12+ cheaper like $600 max. Their "communist" counterparts like Xiaomi and OnePlus for example has the right idea to release a flagship at a price that was deemed expensive back in 2013 - 2014 (>$500).
I don't want to see the Grandfather of Smartphone ODMs die like this in the end.
I don't care about their headphone jack either as the HTC U-Sonic USB-C earbuds redefined high quality sounds coming from that port. If only HTC made 40 - 50mm Neodymium Headphones out of U-Sonic.
AnonD-653301, 22 May 2018I agree about display, but expensiveThey never ever used oled on the M's/U's flagships...
In terms of the display, I do expect this to be a flagship worthy display (the 300nits one on the U11+ was not...). In fact the last competitive display they put in the former One series was on the HTC M8. From then on, all their displays were behind the competition. 10 & 11 were not bad, but their were not there with the class leaders. For 900$ it better be good.
