The apps are not that great there is only about 35,000 apps compared to the andriods 250,000 and apples 550,000. If you are looking to get this phone for fun/games it isn't the best sure it has Xbox live but it's not as good as it seems. I recommend Android.

I think t... moreexactly, wp7 does not need dual core to run without slag, android does since there is thousands of chances to get your android damage bye a virus or malware since is not protected as wp7 that many people complains but they dont realize that is the same reason iphone is so strong because not everyone can upload an app to damage your phone or course you can if you mess with it too much but we have to realize 90% of smartphones users dont know anything about technology all they want is a huge phone that can get you to play games for free or cheap and gps that you harly use. anyway it is great that samsung still fabricating wp7 devices since samsung focus was the best wp7 last year and still is.

Interesting that NONE of the new wave of Mango phones are dual core - even the new Sammy is single core (although 1.4ghz should be more than sufficient) - problem is, in the age of 2 year contracts, and the fact we've already got dual core phones with a more developed OS (Android) - who's going to go for these?
For a change, I would jump to Win mobile, I enjoy Launcher 7 on Android, but I wouldn't make the move until I'm getting a phone with the same specs or higher than that of an Android one...
I just wonder how many people these phones will convert? I assume that's what M$ is looking for...
          :O/

WP& on my omnia 7 is much smoother than the galaxy s. WP7 dont need a dual core. And why do you need a dual core if the single core is itself able to handle the OS perfectly??? u cud reduce ur cost of dual core n provide other hardware feature instead when dual core is not necessary.

Anyway this open my eyes in no trust in cooked ROMS or unofficial ROMS anyone...call me paranoid but I handle very valuable info that I don't like been traced or followed by hidden Trojans in my apps. Like the ones I found.
